Hi! I'm Ms. Gamache. I love teaching in Lebanon and couldn't imagine being anywhere else! When I left one of my first teaching jobs many years ago, I was so sad to go. But a wise colleague said to me, "Go and be happy. You never know - you may not ever want to leave!" And here I am! After 21 years here in Lebanon, I have taught second grade, third grade, and now first grade! I have tried to instill a love of reading and books of all kinds in my students. Reading is my passion and I am the first person everyone goes to when they are looking for a book!
When I'm not in school, you might find me walking or biking on the local trails. I also love to spend time with my family. I have a nephew, Michael, who is a junior at the University of New Haven and throws hammer and discus. My niece Anna is an EMT and is working towards becoming a paramedic. My youngest nephew Scott is a senior in high school. They are truly special to me.
I have been blessed to be part of the Lebanon community for so many years. LES is like a second family to me. The enthusiasm, creativity and love for teaching is evident throughout the school and I am happy to say I am now one of the "veteran" teachers!"
